History

After graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in civil engineering and then earning an MBA from the Harvard Business School, Federico F. Sánchez founded Interlink in 1977. With a distinctive approach to how he envisioned the industry, he brought together an experienced group of professionals committed to the highest standards of quality urban development, project management, sound engineering, and creative planning. Since our inception, the Interlink team has been recognized for achieving superior results by meeting schedules and budgets, in a timely and effective manner. As the Interlink team’s reputation has grown, so too has our portfolio of projects. This includes the construction and marketing of over 3,200 homes, from Farmer’s Home and FHA to high-end suburban single-family and beachfront condominiums.

Now, over 46 years later, Interlink is a company comprised of three distinct but highly complementary operating entities – Development, Construction and Asset & Property Management. Though each requires different skills and competencies, they are nevertheless interconnected to seamlessly function as one. This provides our clients and partners a single integrated resource, offering the broadest range of services.

Geographical Focus

Based out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, we have successfully developed, constructed and/or consulted on projects primarily in Puerto Rico but also in USVI, BVI, Anguila, St. Kitts & Nevis, Dominican Republic and South Florida. Our international team of experts sets the standard for what is possible in the development industry, putting together some of the most innovative and exciting projects in the region.
